Welcome to our website! We would love to introduce you to the family, but first a little background information on where we began. Josh and I met when we worked at Foot Locker together. We started hanging out not long after meeting each other, much to the dismay of our Assistant Manager. Our first official date was on St. Patrick’s Day in 2012 and we have stayed together since then. We have had our ups and downs in our relationship but we have worked through the hard days and have enjoyed the great days together. Now, let’s get to the family.

First, we have our patriarch, Josh. He is in his mid-thirties. He loves spending time with the family and has a passion for business and finances. He has an extremely financially keen mind that has impressed me for years! He is a very helpful person to anyone that asks for his help and I love that about him. He is also very particular and enjoys getting his way but then again, who doesn’t! He definitely has a natural “alpha” personality, is a natural born leader and has such a big heart!
Then there’s me, Kelsey. I will be doing most of the blogging and videos. I love being a Mom and a wife! I also enjoy cooking (most of the time), baking, crocheting, gardening, reading, and also being lazy! I am also going to be preserving food this year although the only thing I have really ever preserved is freezer jam (if you count that). I also enjoy sewing but I haven’t created the room to get my machines out and usable yet. So I am sure you will see some content on organizing the house and cleaning too! I also have an “alpha” type personality so Josh and I can clash on ideas but we always work it out!

Our eldest child is Joshua. He is almost 9 years old! I find it crazy just how fast time flies when sometimes it feels like it stands still. He is such a creative guy. He loves to draw and create things. Currently, he is working on creating a town in his journal. He also likes to create things using Lego and craft items. He enjoys writing as well and even wrote a cute little book back in 2019 about his new little brother Joseph. We would love to figure out how to publish it for him so he can have it as a keepsake. He reads a lot, likes to watch movies with the family, and he loves to run. He is very helpful to anyone that asks for help and has a super big heart. He is starting to show that preteen attitude so this is going to be a new phase is raising kids that we will need to figure out!
Jonathan is our second boy and is almost 7 years old. I find that his personality is very much like mine. He is stubborn and enjoys getting his own way. He feels things very deeply whether it is happy or sad so he can be quite emotional, but that also goes to show just how hard he loves people. He loves to draw, especially battleships. He is also a very active kid and loves to play sports and run. He also enjoys helping me in the kitchen whether it is cooking or baking. He can also be just as lazy as me and we do nothing but relax on the couch. He can also be super helpful, recognizing when someone needs help and helps them. He cares a lot about his siblings and playing with them. I actually credit Joseph learning to walk to Jonathan because he would challenge him to walk a couple steps to the couch and gradually kept bringing him father and farther away. It was so cute to watch and he was so proud of himself!

Joseph is almost 3 years old. I think being the third boy allowed him to form a stronger personality than the others. When he was a baby, he was always making sure the other 2 heard him and that hasn’t stopped. He is just as tough, as loud, and as strong as his older brothers. He loves to have fun, help Mom, and play with his siblings. He is so gentle with Jordanna yet loves to roughhouse with his older brothers. He is also such a helpful guy. If someone if carrying too much, or when I’m bringing the groceries in, he recognizes that the person could use help and offers to help carry things.
Jordanna is our first girl and was quite the surprise! When I was pregnant with her, she wouldn’t let us find out if she was a boy or girl so we had to wait until she was born. This fits right in to her personality. She is such a fun loving almost 1 year old, who loves making others laugh. She has a strong personality and already gives her brothers trouble if they disrupt her or take a toy from her. She also has no problems crawling up to them to steal their toys! She is going to be quite the toddler!

We also have a lap dog named Bosco. He thinks he is a lap dog but he really is about 100 pounds give or take a few pounds. His birthday is actually today! He is an amazing friend to the boys. He is a great protector of the family. He loves to play with the boys, he loves to play fight with Josh, and he also can sense when the energy levels are too high and his “herding” instincts kick in and he calms everyone down. He definitely makes me feel extremely safe in the house, plus he loves to snuggle! We love him to bits and can’t imagine life without a family protector like Bosco!
I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride with us. We are busy but will do our best to include you in as much as possible. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and we hope to spend as much time with you and you will with us! Please tell us about yourselves and your family below in the comments! Thanks for stopping by!
