I really needed some maternity clothes. With this pregnancy, my clothes were not covering my belly much and I still had 2 months left before my due date. Instead of buying a bunch of new maternity shirts and pants, I figured if I could find a good pair of leggings or pants that had a full belly panel, then I would spend less shopping for new clothes and my belly would be covered.

I was debating between Preggo Leggings and SweetLegs. I have the postpartum leggings from Preggo which are great once your tummy shrinks back down a little, so around 4-6 weeks postpartum give or take a few weeks. The thing with Preggo is that I get nailed with duty fees because they are shipped from the United States, plus they are more expensive once exchanged into Canadian dollars.

I have owned SweetLegs leggings before and their legging were amazingly soft and stretchy and just so nice to wear. I had no idea they even had maternity leggings or maternity clothes, but it is a new line so I don’t feel so bad! I took the plunge and ordered 2 pairs of their black maternity leggings. The price was alright (I’m cheap, what can I say?!) and matched what was available in the market right now for leggings and maternity clothes.

These maternity leggings are phenomenal!!!! I live in these and am so glad that I bought 2 pairs! They cover almost my entire belly and my belly doesn’t show if my shirts aren’t quite long enough. They stay up all day long no matter what I’m doing which is a MUST for me for maternity pants in general. It’s so annoying to have to hike your pants up all day with some maternity pants I own. These are soft, stretchy, and passed the see-through test so you cannot see my underwear through them when I bend over. I am so freaking impressed with these! If and when I get pregnant again, I will definitely be buying more pairs of these! I’m not even sure there are any cons with these leggings, but I definitely cannot think of any right now. I have owned them for more than a month and have washed them multiple times and they are still as nice as the day I first wore them.

I have regular leggings in my wardrobe from Sweet Legs and they have always been super comfy. These maternity leggings do not disappoint!
